超音波影像實驗室成立於2010年,主要目標在於運用統計模型與訊息理論來探討超音波散射訊號的組織微結構與生物意義。基於散射訊號的特徵萃取以及人工智慧的整合,我們進一步發展超音波定量參數影像,並用來解決臨床疾病判定所遭遇的困境,目前發展的重點主題包括: a.肝實質病變: 纖維化與非酒精性脂肪肝; b.遺傳性疾病: 肌肉失養症; c.熱治療之影像監控; d.超音波影像定點照護。另外,培育同學成為醫放科學研究、醫學工程、以及生醫新創人才,也是實驗室的目標願景。我們歡迎感興趣的同學加入實驗室。

Ultrasound Imaging Laboratory was established in 2010 with the primary goal of exploring the microstructural and biological significances of ultrasound backscattered signals by using the statistical distributions and information theory. Based on the feature extraction of backscattered signals and the integration of artificial intelligence, we further develop ultrasound quantitative parametric images for clinical diagnosis and tissue characterization. The topics of our current interest include liver fibrosis, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, muscle dystrophy, imaging guidance of thermal therapy, and point-of-care applications. In addition, cultivating students to become biomedical scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs is also the mission of the laboratory. Welcome to join us!
